Human trafficking is a lucrative industry. Identified as the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, it is tied with the illegal arms trade, as the second largest criminal activity, following the drug trade.
Halogen TV sheds light on the sex trade industry in the original series “Tainted Love,” which airs Tuesdays at 10:30pm ET. We are also the exclusive network of The Freedom Awards, which celebrates the achievements of modern day abolitionists.
In addition to the information available in that program, the following are organizations committed to eradicating the world of illegal trafficking. Educate yourself on the issue then get involved by spreading awareness, donating resources or volunteering your time.
