Merge
“Merge” is a reality series hosted by Lisa Rinna (“Days of Our Lives,” “Melrose Place”) that celebrates the delicate art of compromise between newly married couples. Whether it’s a young wife who insists on keeping her pink canopy bed or a new husband that can’t bear to part with his neon beer sign, moving in together can be a stressful endeavor for any couple. Rinna helps newlyweds decide just how prized their favorite possessions really are.
Just before the wedding, the couple is interviewed to discuss which items they can’t live without and which items of their betrothed they can’t live with. While the couple is on their honeymoon, the “Merge” design team integrates their belongings and adds a few finishing touches. The result is a home filled with items they each hold dear. There’s one catch though. Once the items are put in the “no” pile, they are never to be seen again as they meet their doomed fate with THE SHREDDER.
The team literally disassemble and reconstruct the couples furniture and decorations to bring a whole new design to the home. Witness their true feelings towards their new wife or husband’s treasured items. Will they all be willing to compromise for each other’s happiness in the home?

It is good to see a television show hosted by a Lisa Rinna who appeared twice in Playboy nude (very steamy and hot), on a Christian network. Go JESUS!!!

I happened to turn to the show today on Dec. 20th at 1-2 p.m. and wanted to know
what kind of tiles they put down that had the sticky paper on the back. I REALLY
liked them (they looked like travertine, are they?)

Jeanne, Halogen licensed several seasons of Merge – it’s not an original Halogen production – so we do not have the material details for the show. We apologize for the inconvenience … we hope you continue to enjoy the show!

Get rid of the shredder! Alot of the items you are destroying in order to add “effect” to the show, could be re-cycled. Donate these items to thrift store or charity. There are folks who would be abe to use the items you are tossing out. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

I know! We’re sad too, but that’s why we’ve picked up the show. We air it everyday at 2pm so you can still enjoy the existing episodes. Thanks for watching with us.

Please tell Lisa, that she is wonderful. Even occasional pitifully inept “designers” (i am curious, where did they come from and why) could not spoil she show, because Lisa’s beautiful energy and performance were the most enjoyable part of the show.
