On Fashion’s Night Out, New York City and more than 250 cities nationwide highlight fashion and support retail with events that include designer appearances, celebrity guests, fashion shows and musical performances.

Halogen TV highlighted FNO in its hometown of Charlotte, N.C. on Sept. 8. “This event isn’t just a huge fashion party – it’s an evening where the community can unite together and kindle our local economy,” said Effie Loukas, owner of Lotus Boutique and spearhead of FNO Charlotte. “We think it’s important to support our local communities, highlighting those doing good in fashion,” said Halogen rep.

Charlotte’s Fashion Night Out wasn’t just about growing the economy, proceeds earned from the event were donated to Zero Cancer – Great Prostate Challenge 2011.
