Drug Class
“Drug Class” follows real-life teens struggling with varying levels of drug and alcohol consumption. The series interweaves their everyday lives with the classes and counseling sessions of drug expert and teacher Rand Teed. The teens and their families learn how drug use impacts their lives – physically, mentally and spiritually.
It’s a candid, often gritty show that features teens learning to cope with drug problems through Rand’s straight-forward, non-judgmental methodology based on harm mitigation. There’s no heckling the youth; Rand is a steadying and sincere teacher who leads his voluntary course in several Regina high schools. Some kids go straight; others aren’t so lucky.
