Artists Doing GOOD

Four Detroit artists are drawing attention to blighted houses by covering them in buckets of “Tiggerific” orange paint. An original GOOD Video.
GOOD asked Oregon-based advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, to devote their time and creativity to find a way to visually display the theme: I (heart) America.
NYC may or may not be the center of the world, but NYChildren, a new photo series, is providing documentary evidence that the Big Apple sits at the world’s crossroads. There are 192 countries and this project aims to capture an image of a child from each.
Marc Schiller, 42, and his wife and collaborator Sara, 37, champion street art through their website Wooster Collective.

Learn how artists are making the world a better place through their creative talents. For example, Detroit has more than 2 million vacant homes. A group of enterprising young artists began painting the abandoned houses and buildings orange to draw attention to neglected and crumbling structures. Also, an advertising school/agency developed a campaign about why we love America – and how we can improve it. Know of an artist or group of artists who are doing something similar?
