Topics
We’re looking for original interviews with notable names and information that can’t already be found all over the internet. Topics to cover include:
- Life Topics (Our primary target reader online is a female in her early 30s, with children under age 5, so anything to help them fulfill their purpose & make the most of everyday is relevant.)
- Social Justice (causes, organization profiles or events)
- Environmental Justice (notable names who promote going green, eco-friendly products and companies)
- Arts & Culture (profiles on people behind great music, design, art, dance, media who use their platform to make a difference)
- Food & Events (notable names who promote organic, fair trade, local food)
- Social Entrepreneurs & Giving Back (individuals who use their talent and resources to create positive social change)
The Details
- We only accept original blog posts.
- Blog posts must be at least 300 words.
- Be knowledgeable about the material you’re writing about and include credible sources.
- Offer fresh, new information that isn’t already all over the Web.
- Guest posts are unpaid, but include a byline.
- Posts may be edited for length, clarity, editorial style and grammar.
- By submitting a blog post, you give Halogen TV permission to edit and publish your piece in all forms of electronic media indefinitely.

Casual, easy-to-read, scannable and entertaining. All content will be easy to receive, clear in its display, and highly shareable. Our preferred way of writing & formatting a post is outlined in Michael Hyatt’s “Anatomy of an Effective Blog Post.”
