Ethan Zohn braved the emotional and physical stress of “Survivor” and then cancer. But the 37-year-old and host of Halogen’s “Earthtripping” revealed his Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which had gone into remission in 2009, has returned. “It’s localized in my lung area,” Zohn told People magazine. “But it’s good that it’s not all over my body.”

However, the embattled reality star is not allowing the disease to hinder his charity efforts. Zohn still plans to run in the New York City Marathon on Nov. 6 to raise money for his Grassroot Soccer organization, which raises awareness for HIV/AIDS and prevention.

“The doctors think I’m crazy but they gave me the okay,” he said. “Cancer isn’t going to slow me down. I want people to know that you can still live a fulfilled life and move forward.”

Zohn began an advanced form of chemotherapy called SGN-35 that only targets cancerous cells. Following 12 weeks of that treatment, he will then undergo a stem-cell transplant, courtesy of one of his brothers.
