Art for Africa to Hold Star-Studded Charity Auction

Leading artists will donate their work to be auctioned off in a charity fundraiser for the Africa Foundation. Held at Sotheby’s in New York on Nov. 17, the Art for Africa Auction will feature more than 50 African and American artists including Beezy Bailey, Peter Beard, Alexander Calder, Nick Cave, Nan Goldin, Alex Katz, Nabil Nahas, Andres Serrano, Mary Sibande, Hunt Slonem, and Kehinde Wiley.
The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Africa Foundation’s work to provide education, health care, schools and clinics for orphans and disadvantaged throughout South Africa. (via @HuffingtonPost)
