We wanted to take a second to let you know that our fearless leader, Halogen’s Founder and General Manager Becky Henderson, has received some pretty cool nods from the industry in the past several weeks. We’re super proud of her and glad these recognitions will help spread the word about our emerging network.

2011 Rising Leader

Becky was recently named as a recipient of an elite scholarship by the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). She is one 120 women selected for its “2011 Rising Leaders Program,” a week-long immersion in leadership skills, stress management, wellness and more, funded by a grant from the Walter Kaitz Foundation.

CableFax’s Digital Award for Best of the Web

Remember our charity: water campaign last fall where we donated money for each person who requested Halogen from their local cable provider? CableFax honored Halogen TV with the Digital Award for Best of the Web – Social Media Campaign for Halogen TV + Charity water: Let’s build a well together. We are thrilled that the project that led to the establishment of a well in the Central African Republic that will provide clean water to 250 people for 20 years.
