We’ve only been around for a year, but in online terms, that’s a light year. It was time for an upgrade. Over the past several months we created a checklist of how we wanted to improve our site to make it more user-friendly and better highlight our online content.

Our development team has been hard at work and we think you’ll like what they’ve come up with. The new HalogenTV.com not only looks entirely different, but there are new opportunities to interact with the site like never before.

• Our new featured content area on the homepage tells you what’s the latest on our site and what to look for coming up (like our “ReGenesis” Labor Day Marathon!)
• Our new schedule makes it easy to see what’s on, what’s coming up and what each episode is about!
• We’re rolling out a ton of new content as you’ll see in our featured articles section on the main page.
• Register for a free user account in less than a minute (you can even log in using your Facebook account) and you’ll be able to comment on the site, rate content, bookmark your “favorite” content and connect with other people.
• Watching Halogen online is easier than ever with our new navigation bar. Simply roll over “watch” and choose our live sampling stream, or access complete episodes of several of our shows that are available for free streaming anytime.
• It’s also easier than ever to see if Halogen is available in your area, and to request it from your local cable provider if it’s not. As a featured item in our main navigation, you can’t miss it!
• Sign up for our newsletter for ongoing updates about Halogen and the content on our site.
