Friday is Disconnect From Email Day

We here at Halogen are not the biggest fans of email. The overflowing inboxes, the stress of not being able to zero things out. It can be overwhelming. So we’ve decided to declare this Friday, July 30, 2010, the first-ever official international “Disconnect From Email Day.”
Sure, different companies in different countries have experimented with shutting off email for a day a week or one day per month, but this is different. Because this is a global movement. Starting right here. With this blog post. (Hey, it could happen.)
So let’s make it happen! We’ll have a special Thursday email update this week with all the instructions on what to do to prepare for … a Friday without email. So sign up for that.
Oh, and if you need some inspiration or something to do while you’re not checking your email, watch the new documentary “Disconnected,” airing on Halogen Friday at 4pm ET.
Are you going to take part in Disconnect From Email Day? Let us know, and share your tips on living without email!
