Halogen TV Announces New Original Series ‘Jump Shipp’

After months of votes, viewer feedback, focus groups and careful consideration, we’re excited to announce that we have green lit a new original programming series, “Jump Shipp,” featuring millennial advice guru Josh Shipp.
We think that Josh does a much better job telling you about "Jump Shipp" than us—it is his show after all. So, here is a quick note from him about our new adventure together.
Dearest Halogen-ites, Hal-engineers, or whatever you call yourselves,
I would like thank each and every one of you who voted for "Jump Shipp." I would also like to thank my foster mom who I convinced to vote for the show by pushing a button once every 108 minutes in order to keep the show alive.
It worked! Thank you, Mother.
If you didn't get a chance to see the pilot, "Jump Shipp" teaches you when to quit. (What!?!) Yes, I want to teach you how and when to quit the right things at the right times. Too often we find ourselves in bad jobs, bad relationships or simply right in the middle of a "bad life," but not like late 90's version of "bad" which meant good, but like 80's version which actually means "bad." Often times we're too chicken to figure out another way to survive so we continue struggling forward which typically ends in a mid-life crisis.
And you don't want that, do you?
Me either.
What's the other option? Quit. You need to learn when to cut your losses and start over... before it's too late. Will it be scary? Yes. Will it hurt your ego? Most likely. Will you die?* No, of course not, and as Kanye so eloquently says, "That, that don't kill me, only makes me stronger."
So that's what "Jump Shipp" is about; making you a stronger person by teaching you how and when to quit the right things at the right time.
If you wanna JUMP SHIPP I'd love to work you. We'll be announcing how to apply to be on the show soon!
Thanks,
Josh*There is a small chance that being on the show could lead to actually physical death. Intriguing, no?
Look for the premiere of this series in 2011. Until then, be sure to connect with Josh. You can read his blog, follow him on Twitter and Facebook.
Thanks for your votes and interest and for supporting Halogen. We couldn't, and wouldn't, do this without you!
