Halogen is pleased to welcome two marketing interns for the summer. We have refrained from playing any embarrassing initiation pranks, but we did make them fill out this questionnaire.

Meet the Interns

Name: Andrew Young @andrewyoung87
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
Department: Marketing

What’s your favorite show or documentary on Halogen?
My favorite show on Halogen has to be “Invisible Children,” the documentary series about the disastrous effects the war in Uganda is having on children in that area. It is a story that needs to be told so that the world can intervene and save young lives.

Do you have a 925 Confession about the workplace or your coworkers?
My 925 Confession is that I hardly know names of people around the office outside of Halogen. All I do is smile and say, “Hey!” Last week I called someone by the wrong name, but they told me they liked it, so that works!

You’re given $25 to spend in Target. What do you buy?
I would buy a Target Gift Card to save and give it to someone else for a Christmas or birthday gift. I like to plan ahead.

What’s one thing that would make the world a better place?
The world would be a better place if everyone was required to take at least 10 weeks of vacation time a year, and it had to include a both a ski and beach vacation.

Too soon to tell but I bet I’ll have a few before this internship is over.

Music & Books

(By the way, we’re not saying we’re giving you $25 … we’re just saying if you had it.)

What’s one thing that would make the world a better place?
Making it impossible to frown…

With you two around, Blake and Andrew, it is impossible to frown. We’re glad you’re here!
