What’s on your list for 2010? What are your resolutions, hopes & wishes for the year or things you’re planning to do or looking forward to? We asked our staff and here are the responses … Add your own ideas to the comments section!

My list for 2010:

Kelleen Nicholson – “I do not do new year’s resolutions. Last year I did something new. I had a word for the year – Courage. Peace is my word for 2010.”

Allen Watts – “In 2010 I’m going to take my daughter camping and teach her how to disassemble a carburetor (not at the same time). She’s 3, so that might be a little ambitious, but we all need goals in life.”

Josh Acuff –
“The arrival of my third child, ‘the surprise’, coming in early january. Hard to see beyond that right now.”

Christie Legg –
“My resolution for 2010 is to stop . . . take a deep breath . . . and start over. Everyone needs a ‘do-over’. Outside of that, I plan on brushing up on my Spanish language skills.”

Tyler Garnett – “This year I am going to eat right and get healthy. Although I said that last year and I didn’t do it… And I’m going to the clean the house, but I also said that last week and didn’t do it… I’m sorry what was the question again?”

Rob Deason – “For 2010 my goal is to save money…only to spend it. Family events in the coming year include a HS senior trip, HS graduation, College graduation, 25th wedding anniversary and a son’s wedding. Please drop your donations in the hat on my desk.”

Marshall Nord – “I am going to try and just BE in 2010 and not DO so much. I think the odds are against me considering my history, but I am going to try!”

Tamara Park – “So I name my years. This has been the Year of Freedom; profound little moments have happened en route but perhaps the freedom I’ve most embraced has been eating loads of dark chocolate…and dreaming big. 2010, I suspect, will be the Year of Carpe Diem. I know. It’s so-80s-Dead Poet Society, but I can’t resist. Cheers to a year of moxie!”

Heather Shelton – “Goals for 2010: giving birth! Enough said.”

Lindsay Fisher – “I second Heather’s goal. Enough said.”

Todd Lewis – “My resolve is to look at the world more like my 2 year old daughter does, with wonder, trust, a smile, and lots and lots and lots of energy. And an early bedtime.”
